Messages from the President
President's Message,

Congratulations PTAs for another successful school
year. You have set standards for children, you’ve
raised funds for school improvements, and you dealt
with all the volunteers so wonderfully. Your PTAs make
us so proud. So what now…

Well, we have:
        Palm Beach County Council Celebrates 80
years
        Awards Ceremony on Thursday, May 29th,
Everyone is invited (Free)
        National PTA Conference in San Diego June
20th  -24th  (Registration required)
        Leadership Conference at Innisbrook July 11th
-13th  (Registration required)
        Mandatory Presidents Meeting August 26th
(Free)
        Community Business and Vendors Fair Early
September (Free)

With all those things happening we would hope that you
would consider the participation in the Palm Beach
County Council is well worth the $50.00 spent to join
this year. As the school year progresses and many
more meetings and events will be planned for your
participation.

We as a society have been dealing with tough times
financially. We as PTA's need to consider this when
running our organization. We need to consider the
needs of our families to come first. We anticipate
additional cuts in the school budgets as well. With that
said, your council will remain to be fiscally responsible
when making all decisions for Palm Beach County
PTA's. Teamwork will get us all through the tough road
ahead.

With your cooperation, please send me the name of
the New President for 2008-09 school year, along with
their email so I can continue to inform your school of
upcoming meetings and events.

I have really enjoyed the past 2 years as your
President and look forward to the next year ahead.
Your ideas and suggestions are always welcome,

Mindy Haas
